Today, the SWFD Rescue Squad conducted joint training with members of the Enfield Fire Departments’ Special Operations team. The drill focused on trench rescue at a operations level for Enfield, and an awareness level for South Windsor.
Developing partnerships with nearby mutual aid services who specialize in specific disciplines and own specific equipment benefits both departments and better prepares them should a dual response be needed for an emergency.
