As the majority of Storm Henri has passed - the day could not come to an end without publicly THANKING each and every member of the SWFD for dedication, professionalism, and kindness.
Dozens of members spent the day away from their families and own personal storm related issues to serve the Department and Community.
Throughout the day they remained vigil and responded to incidents and as we dismissing them, we responded to the Mill to assist. They spent additional hours making the business safe again.
Not one single member does this for thanks or praise, but as their proud Chief, I will say THANK YOU!!!
Thank you to your families as well as they managed things at home during these storms.
