SMOKE DETECTORS SAVE LIVES

On arrival, first-in companies found that the dishwasher was previously on fire, however; it had been extinguished by the homeowner. The sleeping residents were alerted to the fire by their smoke detectors, which allowed them to safely evacuate their 3 young children and extinguish the fire prior to it causing catastrophic damage.
