This morning, Sunday, October 17th the SWFD Special Operations - Rescue Squad members trained on a simulated car down an embankment with two trapped occupants.
The SWFD invited members of the Broad Brook Fire Department to participate.
Members had to descend an embankment of approx. 50’, stabilize the car, extricate the occupants, package and haul occupants up the embankment with only access from the street level.
