Rescue MVA Extrication on Oakland on 2/18/2023
SWFD, South Windsor Police Department, and Ambulance Service of Manchester on scene of a two vehicle crash on Oakland Road between Felt Road and Foster Street. Extrication was required to remove the driver of a pick-up truck. Non life-threatening injuries. Oakland Road is closed.

February 8 at 1:58 PM SWFD, South Windsor Police Department, and Ambulance Service of Manchester at scene of a two car motor vehicle crash. Rt 5 and Pleasant Valley Road. Minor injuries. Rt 5 remained opened. Pleasant Valley between Rt 5 and Nutmeg Road North blocked for a short time.

On February 1 just before 10:30 AM, an All American Waste trash truck picked up item(s) that caused a fire in the truck. All trash was dumped and extinguished by SWFD. No damage to truck. No injuries. Occurred in a quiet residential neighborhood of Farmstead Drive and Brook Street.
REMINDER: Do NOT dispose anything hazardous or flammable in your trash.
